Old concrete and terracotta tiled roofs bring their own problems: cracked and slipped tiles, failed pointing, and a weight the frame has been carrying for decades.

Get a New Roof On
We take off the old roof, deal with what is underneath, and install a new metal roof with the flashings and the roof drainage done as part of the job.
What a re-roof covers:
- Removal and disposal of the old roof sheeting
- Concrete and tiled roof removal where the replacement is metal
- New Colorbond, Klip-Lok, Trimdek or Custom Orb sheeting
- New battens, insulation blanket, flashings, gutters and downpipes
We are metal roofers, so a tiled roof is removed and replaced with metal rather than restored. If you want a tiled roof kept as a tiled roof, we will tell you that up front rather than talking you into something else.

Yes. Removing a concrete or tiled roof and replacing it with metal is part of what we do, including taking the old material away. What we do not do is tile roof restoration, because we are metal roofers.
We work in sections and plan around the weather so the building is not left open. On a re-roof we strip and re-sheet progressively rather than removing everything at once.
Not always, but it is usually the right time. Gutters are far easier to replace while the roof edge is open, and old gutters on a new roof tend to become the next problem.
Usually several days depending on size, pitch, access and weather. Removing a tiled roof adds time because of the volume of material coming off. We will give you a realistic window when we quote.
It can be. Insulation blanket goes on as the sheets are laid, and a re-roof is the only practical opportunity to add it. We will include it as an option in the quote.
