Have You Got a Bathroom or Kitchen You Want to Update?
Plenty of bathrooms and kitchens have not been touched since the house was built. The finishes look dated, fixtures pick up chips and damage, and the room stops feeling like somewhere you want to spend time.
Then there is the practical side. The vanity is too small, the shower is not as big as you would like, or something simply needs to move to make the room work. Sometimes there is a fault behind it as well, like shifted tiles or a leak that keeps coming back.
Either way, what usually stalls people is not the tiles or the tapware. It is not knowing whether the layout in their head is actually possible, and what has to move to get there.

Build the Bathroom, Kitchen or Laundry You Actually Want
We start with the layout you want rather than the one the old pipework happens to allow, then tell you early if something will not work so you are not redesigning halfway through.
From there the job runs in clear stages:
- Water and waste services relocated to suit your new layout
- Rough-in completed before the walls are lined and the floor waterproofed
- Fit-off once the tiling and cabinetry are done, with everything tested
- Scheduled around your builder, tiler, waterproofer and cabinetmaker
Our plumbers are qualified, licensed and insured, and the same team also covers gas, hot water and drainage, so anything the renovation uncovers gets handled on the spot.

Prompt, clean and quality work from this plumber. I've had a hot water system replaced, then later used them again to replace taps and repair leaks. Been great dealing with them. Good Tradies are hard to find. Glad I found these guys!!

Renovation Plumbing Questions
Usually three stages. First we work out where the water and waste services need to move to suit your new layout and get that done. Then comes the rough-in, where the new pipework goes in before the walls are lined and the floor is waterproofed. Last is the fit-off, where the taps, mixers, toilet, basin, bath, shower and any appliances get connected and tested once the tiling and cabinetry are finished.
In most cases yes. Relocating water and waste services is normal renovation work for us. Waste is the part that sets the limits, because it has to fall to the existing drainage, so where the toilet and floor waste can go depends on what is under the floor. Show us your plan or your ideas early and we will tell you what works before you commit to a layout.
It comes down to how much has to move and what is behind the walls. Keeping fixtures roughly where they are is the cheapest path. Moving a toilet or shower, adding a second bathroom, or working on a slab rather than a suspended floor all add work. Fixture choice matters too, since wall mixers and floor wastes need different rough-in to standard fittings. Contact us with your plan and we will quote it properly, for free.
Yes. Renovations only run smoothly when the plumbing turns up at the right point in the sequence, so we coordinate with the builder, tiler, waterproofer and cabinetmaker to hit the rough-in and fit-off windows. If you are managing the job yourself, tell us who else is involved and we will work in around them.
Ideally before the rough-in, yes. The tapware, shower set, bath, basin and toilet you choose all affect where the pipework and wastes have to sit inside the wall and floor. Choosing them late usually means either changing the fitting to suit the rough-in or reopening work that is already closed up.
Yes. Kitchens and laundries need the same treatment: sink and tap connections, hot and cold pipework, waste, and the water and waste points for dishwashers and washing machines. We handle those alongside bathroom work, and often in the same renovation. See Home Plumbing for the rest of what we do around the house.
